From multiple award-winning and critically acclaimed film, documentary and music clip director Julien Temple (Glastonbury, The Filth and the Fury, Absolute Beginners, London: The Modern Babylon) comes CROCK OF GOLD, a feature documentary about the legendary Poet, Punk and Pogue, the unique Shane MacGowan.
Media coverage was secured across all media channels and platforms targeting the key demographic of music and documentary film fans.
Interviews with Director Julien Temple amplified the media coverage positioning the film as a ‘must see’ Christmas release. Interviews and reviews were placed across mainstream commercial TV programs, high calibre newspapers and online press. The campaign also included a strong grassroots component to reached the independent film and music audience.
To further promote CROCK OF GOLD, a media screening was held in Sydney and Melbourne. Music influencers, local musicians, celebrities, film and music press, and promotional partners were invited. The screenings were well attended and the feedback was very positive.
